I grew up drawing with pencil and painting with acrylic paints selling a number of painting. I later did Computer Science and Pure Mathematics and realized I liked programming. I then realized I had an interest in game programming. I freelanced for a few years as a graphic designer designing logos for a number of individuals and companies.
I pursued my passion for Game Design & Development in Vancouver, BC where I studied Game Art & Design at VanArts: Vancouver Institute of Media Arts.
With a combined skillset of math, programming/scripting, 2D/3D art and design, I now do work as a Designer, Technical Artist & Technical Animator.
As a Technical Artist I act as a hybrid creator that acts as a bridge between the artist and developer.
I create and implement front end and in-game UI/UX. I also create reusable VFX and shaders. Research new techniques, workflows and establish proper pipelines and tools.
